A little ! A little history of us.
While visiting the original Bestway in Hollidaysburg recently, The up & coming third generation, little guy saw his Pappy on the wall in the dining room! He thought it was the coolest thing ever.
Denny started working in the Altoona store when he was only 14 years old. Then moved onto the Duncansville location.. To end up helping open Bedford in 1999.
He sold franchises & help new locations with opening for years.
With help of his oldest daughter, he purchased the Somerset location in 2014. Denny's two other children, joined the family business, and eventually bought the established Alum Bank location in 2024. They took over in September! Closed for a short couple of weeks & reopened October 14, 2024. With help of many local businesses & 100 hour work weeks, the remodel was complete!
Fast forward to 2026: With so much going on, they sold the Somerset location to different owners! (But it's still a Bestway 🍕)
They welcomed a second grandson into the crazy mix! 💙
It takes the whole family to keep things running! Plus their great group of employees they have.
❤️❤️When you visit the two locations, our customers have become friends & some even family. We know their names, usual orders, and even when they need to talk about their day! We love our small community!❤️❤️
In August, we celebrated 27 years at our Bedford location. Thank you!!
