This week is going to be a fun one!
Tuesday we will be closed, so we are celebrating Taco Tuesday on Wednesday!
Thursday we are offering 15% our Fall Foliage Menu. Sunday we are open from 7am until 4 pm (serving a fun English Breakfast for the early morning NFL game)!

When you have sixteen bathrooms to keep cute and a husband who is going away for a few days to Napa - you got to leverage that to a visit to our favorite antique store - Thirteen Pines Trading Co.
We got a couple of pieces of wall art, two new bathroom mirrors, and a ton of inspiration!
Total Sunday Funday!
We will keep you up to date on all of our room refreshing - tomorrow we will start with our Juniata Room!

While Tom’s away, Michelob Ultra goes on draft for $4 a pint! 🍺

And on Thursday, it gets even better: $2 a pint during Happy Hour, 4–7 PM. Most of our other beers are half price then, too.

Bedford History Mystery !
This unusual arched window is in Salmon’s Garret on the third floor of the Golden Eagle Inn, a building begun by John Anderson in 1794. We would love to learn when it was added—and who might have designed or built it.

Does anyone remember seeing it in an older photograph, know of similar windows around Bedford, or have family stories connected with the building? Please share photographs, dates, names, or even leads. We’d be delighted to preserve the window’s story along with the window itself.
It is one of our favorite rooms in the Inn!

These cool mornings have us hungry for some Pumpkin Chili! It’s completely vegetarian (and vegan if you only top with fresh avocado) and it’s delicious!

We took the curtains down to paint - and with this view we are SO not putting them back up anytime soon!
Honestly, we’re a little verklempt. 🥹💕

A cozy table for two, dinner and drinks at the Golden Eagle—and a first-run movie waiting right across the street at the beautiful Pitt Theatre.

No driving across town. No complicated plans. Just dinner, a movie, and one ridiculously charming little corner of Bedford. 🍷🍿🎬

Tom woke up with a touch of “the man cold” this morning. Hopefully with a little rest he will feel better and be back on the stick again in no time! See you this afternoon for some fun with most beers from 4 to 7pm
