Some exciting changes are in the works here at the Beaverton Family Diner!

I( Kayti Strunk) and my husband Steve will be the new owners, if you have been to the diner I am sure you have seen me either waiting tables, delivering pizzas or heck even maybe cooking your food!
Beaverton Family Diner( former Delenas Rest) has a special place in my heart, my parents, Tim Cummings and Peggy Valentine( Hutson) both worked there in the 70's when they were in high-school, and actually up untill after I was born, then many years later after graduation l decided that Delenas was a good fit for me, I worked as a waitress from 1994 -2001, I went from being a 17 year old waitress to a wife (1998) and a mother (2001) all while being employed there, I then decided to make a change at got a job at Mack's Menu/ Mack's on Main, I waitressed there untill 2013, when I finally decided to come back home!
I have met alot of amazing people, and have truly enjoyed waitressing( which I will continue), We are so excited to start this new adventure.
I want to thank Ken Hannah, for making our dreams a reality, and alot of other mentors I have had along the way especially (Gil Reaume).

We will gradually be making some changes, keep a eye on our page, or stop in for a visit!

We will be changing the name, It will now be Downtown Diner & Pizzeria.
