I wasn't feeling good and I wanted some Korean Galbi Tang but I couldn't go out. I found out on my computer that New Seoul Garden Korean Restaurant is on the Amazon Restaurant's delivery program in my area so was able to order on line and I had my Galbi Tang delivered to me within the hour after I ordered it. Now I feel better knowing that I can order from New Seoul Garden's menu just about anytime and have it delivered within an hour.

It was cold and snowy outside and I went to New Seoul Garden for some Samgye Tang and the sun came out. Must be some kind of message when you eat a hot bowl of Korean soup. I know it sure taste good in all kinds of weather.

Wow! It is snowing! Time to go to New Seoul Garden for one of their delicious soups. There are so many it's hard to choose, but one of my favorites is Samgye Tang, a small chicken stuffed with ginseng and rice and herbs. I'm getting hungry just thinking about it. I may take the family and some friends for some Korean Barbecue and make an evening of it.

It's getting cold outside. Time to go to New Seoul Garden for a steaming bowl of Samgye Tang (whole boiled chicken stuffed with Ginseng, rice, and spices) and an ice cold glass of Korean Beer.
Mmm! While I'm at it, I think I'll have some delicious Kimchi Jeon (Korean style kimchi pancakes). I can't stay away from New Seoul Garden and their authentic Korean food..

Last night I had a bowl of Samgye Tang at New Seoul Garden and it was superbly delicious. For those who don't know what Samgye Tang is, it is a whole small chicken stuffed with rice, ginseng, water chestnuts, and dried Korean plums and boiled for a long time until the rice and chicken is done and served in a very hot pot. This is a wonderful dish to have anytime, and Koreans say it it is very healthy and nourishing. In Korea there are restaurants that serve only Samgye Tang. Here's to your good health and long life.

I was thinking of my time in Korea and remembered a quaint little restaurant down a flight of stairs that I frequented quite often that only served Katsu, and then I found out New Seoul Garden serves Chicken Katsu made from real tender chicken breast filets dipped in Planko batter and fried to perfection in fresh oil. I tried it and the memories rushed in of the hours I spent eating and drawing at that little restaurant. Now I know where to go for the best Katsu in Portland. Next time I'm at New Seoul Garden I will try the pork Katsu.
