🥓 Bacon Fest is back in Kettering today at The Fraze, and this one brings back some damn good memories.

Two years ago, Death Grip rolled into Bacon Fest and walked away with the title of Most Baconlicious 2024. 🏆💀

A proud moment for our little donut truck—and proof that bacon absolutely belongs on a donut. We will not be taking questions at this time.

Over the years, we pushed that sweet-and-salty obsession in every direction we could: maple, chocolate, jalapeños, cream cheese, mash potatoes, loaded toppings and enough crispy bacon to make a cardiologist nervous.

But this carousel also features one creation that never got its official debut:

The Don't Go Bacon My Heart Maple Syrup Grilled Cheese Donut Sandwich.

A grilled maple syrup donut sandwich stacked with melted cheese and crispy bacon. Completely unnecessary. Slightly unhinged. Exactly the kind of thing we loved creating.

It never made it onto the menu—but it deserves its moment in the bacon hall of fame today.

To all the food trucks, vendors and bacon-loving animals taking over Kettering: have an incredible Bacon Fest! We’re cheering you on and feeling extra nostalgic for one of our favorite festival memories. 🖤

Today marks one year since our world changed.

Some anniversaries are easy to celebrate.

This isn’t one of them.

One year ago, we thought we were sharing a temporary setback.

Instead, it’s become a year that has challenged us in ways we never could’ve imagined.

It’s been a year without hearing “I’ll take a dozen.”
A year without watching lines form outside the trailer.
A year without early mornings making donuts.
A year without seeing the community that gave this little business a life of its own.

We miss all of it.

But what we’ve gained this past year is a reminder that Death Grip Donuts has always been bigger than the trailer.

It’s every message asking how we’re doing.
Every comment saying, “We can’t wait until you’re back.”
Every person who still wears our merch or tags us in an old photo.

You’ve kept this brand alive in ways you probably don’t even realize.

So today isn’t about looking back at what happened.

It’s about looking at what remains.

A community that still believes in us.

For that, we’ll never be able to thank you enough.

Here’s to one year of resilience, one year of remembering what matters, and one year closer to whatever comes next. 🖤 🍩

The Death Grip Story

Chapter One: The Crazy Idea. 🍩💀

Death Grip started with one crazy idea.

An idea Cam couldn’t stop thinking about.

No business experience.

No roadmap.

No clue what it actually took to build something from the ground up.

Just a dream.

Most people would’ve talked themselves r others out of it.

Lainey didn’t.

She believed in the dream just as much as the person dreaming it.

So together... we dove head first .

What people saw was a donut truck.

What they didn’t see was everything it took just to get those doors open.

The nights that turned into mornings... and then straight into another workday without sleep.

The birthdays, holidays, dinners, vacations, and family gatherings we missed having to say no too, those are moments we won’t get back.

The tears.
The moments of doubt.

The conversations that started with, “Can we really do this?” and ended with, “We’ll figure it out.”

Building Death Grip had a funny way of introducing us to ourselves.

It showed us what we were good at.
It exposed the places where we still had room to grow.

It tested our patience.
Our relationship.
Our belief in ourselves.

Some days it felt impossible.
But we kept showing up.
Because quitting would’ve been easier...
..but it never felt like an option.

Then something happened we never could’ve imagined.

You showed up.

And little by little, this stopped feeling like our dream.

It became something so much bigger.
A community.

Looking back, we’re proud of what we built.

But we’re even more grateful for the people who believed in us before we had every answer. 🖤

We know one question is always on everyone’s mind...

“When are the donuts coming back?”

The honest answer is... we don’t have that answer to share right now.

When we do, you’ll hear it from us first.

Death Grip was never just about donuts.

It was always about the people who built it... and the community that built it with us.

The Death Grip Story continues... 🍩💀

🇺🇸 Happy 250th Birthday, America. 🍩💀

If you’ve been around Death Grip for a while, then you already know... if there’s a mullet, an American flag, and Cameron making everyone around him question his life choices, it must be the Fourth of July.

The Fourth has always been one of our favorite weekend, not just because it’s America’s birthday, but because it meant seeing familiar faces, sharing laughs, and watching so many of you make Death Grip part of your holiday traditions.

Looking back through these photos reminds us just how many incredible memories we’ve made together over the years.

To every customer who stood in line.
To every family that brought the kids.
To every person who introduced a friend to Death Grip.

To every festival, event organizer, and fellow food truck that shared the road with us...

Thank you. 🖤

Happy National Donut Day from your favorite Donut Dealer. 🍩💀

While we're still closed, we're celebrating the only way we know how: by digging through the greatest hits, the messiest memories, and the donuts that had people showing up for a 4-pack and somehow leaving with a dozen.

To everyone who ever stood in those long lines, pre-orders before we sold out, chased us across town even, brought their dog, bought a sticker, grabbed a shirt, or spent five minutes trying to decide between flavors...

Thank you.

You helped turn a crazy idea into something way bigger than donuts.

We miss the early mornings.
We miss the festivals.
We miss the food truck chaos.
We miss watching someone take their first bite of a new flavor and immediately start planning their next order.

Now we need your help.

👇 Drop your all-time favorite Death Grip donut in the comments.

Better yet, Please post your favorite Death Grip photo or memory and tag us. We want to see the throwbacks, the first bites, the full boxes, the family photos, the dog photos, and all the good memories we've made togethers

There are some weekends you build for all year.

This was one of them.

The Sugar Maple weekend always gave us a reason to go bigger, get weirder, and put together some of our favorite specials we’ve ever made. And every time, y’all met that energy with so much love.

We’re not part of it this season, but we’re still proud of what we brought to the table and grateful for everybody who pulled up for it.

Thanks for making those memories with us.🍩🖤

Blast from the Past: Spring Edition 🌸🍩

There’s just something about April.

The longer days, the first warm breeze, the smell of food trucks firing back up, and that feeling that festival season is finally stretching its legs again.

This time last year, our April menu was out in the wild doing what it did best — causing cravings, making messes, and giving people a reason to lick their fingers in public with zero shame.

As food truck season kicks into full swing, we’ve been feeling extra nostalgic over here. Missing the early mornings, the organized chaos, the familiar faces in line, and the spring festivals with some of our favorite fellow truckers.

To our loyal customers — thanks for still being here, still remembering the flavors, still checking on us, still asking for updates, still caring. That kind of love sticks with a small business in a big way. 🖤

And to our food truck friends heading into one of the busiest and best times of the year — we’re cheering you on hard.

Go have a season full of sellouts, smooth events, long lines, good weather, and very few generator problems. 😉

Spring always brings back some good memories.

We miss it. We miss you.
