Crave Mexican Grill will be permanently closing sometime the week of August 11th

Friends and patrons, it is with heavy heart that we are announcing the closure of our restaurant effective sometime the week of August 11th. First, I’d like to apologize in advance if we told anyone we were continuing operations, we had a purchase agreement negotiated with a loyal employee, but the sale fell through. The business was (and remains) very successful and we may go at it again in the future – but for now our family is looking to pursue other business ventures and this is no longer the right time, nor the right place. I have a brief story I want to share with you: the other day I was working alongside my 15 year old daughter Palagia. I was watching her assist a customer and I suddenly took a trip through time and imagined myself as an old man – on my death bed observing this very moment – father and daughter lovingly working together in the family business – bonded by love and a common purpose. My eyes teared up – it was truly a beautiful moment. What a privilege these last 8 ½ years have been. It’s been truly an honor to to work hand in hand with my wonderful wife, six of my children, my nephew, and some of the best people in Beaver County – I must be the most fortunate man alive. I’m proud of what we’ve accomplished and I truly hope we left a positive impact. If I may, I have three asks from the community:

1. Please visit us this next week or so. Spend any remaining gift cards you may have. Closing date will be determined by staffing and food inventory – we need enough time to clear the facility and clean up the building. I’ll give a firm date as soon as I can. Until then, business as usual including catering.
2. I’m thinking about doing something special on our last day or so – maybe donate food to a good cause, or offer free community tacos. We’ve always had a 10% discount offer for uniformed public servants – maybe we can offer something additional as a thank you. Please post your suggestions and ideas.
3. If you have any nice memories to share with us, please do so. We would love to hear them!
