We want to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas. And all the best to all of our BBQ family. Sorry that we haven't posted in a long while. We miss and love each and every one of y'all. Have a safe and happy Christmas and NEW YEAR. We are hoping for some big news for the 2025 season. Wish us luck

For Immediate Release: 10/11/2022

It is with great sadness and sorrow that we announce that one of our own Sergeant Daniel Bagwell has passed away in a tragic accident yesterday afternoon. Sergeant Bagwell has worked with the Anderson Fire Department for 11 years working his way from Firefighter to Sergeant. A lot of hearts are hurting this morning including his wife, Tonya, and young 7 month old daughter, Madilynn, and his sweet family members that always had open doors for our team members and considered us all here at the fire department their extended family members.

Daniel was a huge part of this department and community and his beloved shifts and was loved by all. Daniel was a strong leader, solid firefighter, good friend, but most importantly a loving husband and father.
I was thinking on the way home this morning how we dedicate our lives to helping others in our line of work and try to be there for anyone that needs help but yesterday God has other plans for Daniel.

This will be hard for us all to move forward without him with the impression that he made on each person he was ever around. Please continue to pray for both families, his brothers and his home family, as we move forward to try our best to honor him in the best way that we can.

We have received countless phone calls, text messages, social media messages offering prayers, words of encouragement and direct support. We appreciate it.
