As students across Southeast Texas prepare to head back to school, we’re excited to launch our Q3 Round-Up Campaign. This quarter, every round-up at Buckstin Beaumont and Buckstin Nederland will help support two incredible organizations that are making a real difference for local students and families.
Period Power Pantry provides free menstrual products to those in need through schools, shelters, disaster relief efforts, and community partners. What began after founder Meg Baertl Brown experienced firsthand the lack of access to menstrual products following a hurricane has grown into a movement dedicated to ensuring no one has to go without these essential items. Their advocacy has even helped eliminate the tampon tax in Texas.
School Tools, a program of the Southeast Texas Food Bank, provides free school supplies to teachers serving economically disadvantaged students. By equipping classrooms with pencils, notebooks, crayons, and other essentials, they help ensure every child has the tools they need to learn with confidence and succeed alongside their classmates.
From now through the end of the quarter, simply round up your purchase at either Buckstin location. Those spare cents may seem small, but together they become backpacks filled, classrooms stocked, and basic necessities placed into the hands of people who need them most.
Thank you for helping us continue to invest in the community that has invested so much in us.
