The Hen House Bakery We are a cottage food bakery located currently in Norfolk, VA. Serving homemade cinnamon rolls, cookies, breads and more. Contact us for minimum order amount.

We look forward to serving you on Norfolk Naval Base, Ghent, Larchmont and surrounding areas The Hen House Bakery is as a Cottage Food Bakery licensed in Beaufort County in the state of South Carolina . For the last year, we have been serving Ladys Island and the surrounding areas (we say from Fripp to Laurel Bay!). Creating classic breads, pies, cakes, and cookies is our passion though our cinnamon rolls and our bacon chocolate chip cookies have become our calling card! Our family enjoys meeting our customers and being part of the community. We set up “The Coop” (our mobile bakery pop-up) regularly at Pasture Shed Farm (Henry Farms) in St. Helena, and by now you have probably seen us doing Saturday deliveries in the famous “Bakery Bug”. Drop by one Saturday, say hey, and maybe enjoy a cinnamon roll and an espresso drink! We can also coordinate group bulk and special orders! Follow our FB page and our Instagram to keep current on all of our offerings. We look forward to serving you soon!

Wishing our youngest “chick” a happy birthday! 13 officially a teenager. It calls for a ‘s’mores cake to go with a glamping theme. This cake was made with my go to chocolate cake recipe. Filled with a marshmallow buttercream and crushed graham crackers , finished off with another favorite chocolate buttercream recipe.

Thank you Coastal Roots Microbakery for hosting the rooted exchange! It was a joy meeting new people and exchanging items that mean so much to each creator. I enjoyed bringing home a beautiful basket to share with my family and inspire my girls.
