Good Sunday morning, Beaufort County & the Lowcountry. ❤️

Before another busy week begins, I wanted to take a moment to personally say THANK YOU!

When I think about Higgins Family Brands and how far we’ve come, I’m reminded that none of it happens without people; our customers, our team members, our partners, our friends, and the communities that continue to support local businesses like ours.

Every time you walk through one of our doors, recommend one of our businesses to a friend, share a post, or simply choose to spend your hard-earned dollars locally, it matters. More than you may realize.

I’m incredibly proud of what we’re building, but I’m even more proud of the people who make it possible every single day.

Beaufort County and the Lowcountry is home. It’s where we live, work, raise our families, and serve our neighbors. Being able to grow businesses here while creating opportunities and supporting the community we love is something I never take for granted.

So this Sunday morning, I simply want to say THANK YOU for believing in us, supporting us, and growing with us.

We also encourage everyone in our communities to support local businesses. Griddle & Grits is a great restaurant in Port Royal, owned and operated by great people who make delicious food and serve up a true Southern meal experience.

Since Griddle & Grits will be closed August 4th and 5th, Blackstone's Cafe will be sharing 50% of our profits from our sales on August 4th and 5th with them. So, if you are dining with us these days, you will be helping our friends in Port Royal. Keep up the great work Griddle & Grits🙂

Special Note from Jake Higgins/Owner:

Thank you City Beaufort SC (Admin and Staff who we Love) for helping us with this project and ensuring the best times were rescheduled with our vendor. We are grateful for Pinnacle HVAC (Awesome HVAC Company), 303 Associates (Awesome Landlord) and our local businesses for understanding and letting us complete this repair that requires a big crane and several technicians!!!

The Downtown District is the best and we all will continue working together to uplift it and make it even better while holding on to our love for each other and our military town.

As a special thank you to all involved, I am purchasing $1000 worth of bagels from Rain -N- Bagels to pass out to our hardworking City of Beaufort staff and Downtown businesses this coming week. These bagels are absolutely delicious😋

These are the best people around🙂 We will be dropping off these orders later this week. ,

🚧 NOTICE: Change in Scott Street Closure, Sunday July 26

Scott Street, between Port Republic Street and Bay Street, will be temporarily closed Sunday morning, starting at 5 a.m., to allow Pinnacle Air Conditioning to replace an air conditioning unit on top of Blackstone's Café.

🗓️ Sunday, July 26
🕗 Beginning at 5:00 a.m.
⏱️ Closure expected to last up to 2 hours

The replacement of the AC unit requires a crane, making the temporary road closure necessary for the safety of both the public and crews on site.

Motorists are encouraged to use alternate routes during this time. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
