🎬 The Sandlot will be shown outdoors at 7:00 PM! Bring a blanket and enjoy movie night under the stars!

I have a quiet moment to reflect on Year Five of Tahiti Sweetie Shave Ice. 💙🍧

Season Five went by so incredibly fast!

This year, we were invited to so many new events and places, while also having the joy of returning to those who have supported and invited us from the very beginning of Tahiti Sweetie Shave Ice.

One of the greatest blessings has been watching our customers become friends. We’ve watched some of your children grow up, watched others get married and start families of their own. We’ve shared celebrations, conversations, smiles and memories.

To think…we may have never met any of you if it weren’t for a little blue trailer selling cold treats. 💙

Over these past five years, Sweetie and Iceman also became grandparents—twice! 👶🏼👶🏼 And we have been so blessed to share that tremendous joy with all of you.

Because of the support of our wonderful customers, Sweetie has had the privilege of being able to watch those precious grandchildren each day. Thank you for helping make that possible. That means more to us than you will ever know.

Of course, the past five years haven’t been without challenges and trials. There have been times when we have been called things and treated in ways that made us want to say, “it isn’t worth it” “It didn’t bother me.” But the truth is…sometimes it hurt deeply.

And then one of you would smile, say something kind, encourage us, or simply show up—and somehow, that little bit of kindness would help bring the joy back into my heart. ❤️

So, from the bottom of our hearts, thank you.

Thank you for your support.
Thank you for your encouragement.
Thank you for your kindness.
Thank you for continuing to choose our little business.

We will never, ever take it for granted.

Here’s to five years of cold treats, miles traveled, new places, old friends, new friends, laughter, challenges, blessings, and so many memories.

🍎 A Heartfelt Thank You to the The Barry Apple Festival🍎

We would like to give a huge and heartfelt THANK YOU to the Barry Apple Festival and the wonderful Barry community for welcoming Tahiti Sweetie Poffertjes & Puffles this year!

Thank you to everyone who stopped by, supported us, and chose to make a fresh Puffle or Poffertjes part of your Barry Apple Festival memories. We truly appreciate your patience while we prepared each order fresh for you. We know the lines were long at times, and we are so grateful for your kindness, patience, and encouragement!

Most importantly, you made us feel so welcomed. We came as vendors and left feeling like we had made new friends. ❤️

We also want to give a special shout-out to our wonderful neighbors, Big Bro's BBQ & Catering. The food was amazing, and the kindness of the owners and staff made our weekend even more enjoyable. It was truly a privilege to be your “neighbors” for the weekend!

Today is the LAST DAY for Tahiti Sweetie Shave Ice. for the 2026 season! 🎉

She has been serving up fresh sno since April—through spring, summer, and fall! 🌸☀️🍂

We currently have all of our flavors available, but some are running low! So, we’ll be serving while supplies last.

Today is also the final day of the Beardstown Fall Fun Festival and we’ll be opening around 1:00 PM, after church.
