Iron Oak Barbecue Company Real, no-shortcut barbecue: long hours at the smoker, recipes made from scratch, and love behind every plate. Re Opening May 24th for the 2024 Season!

Whether you’re a lifelong local or just passing through, we hope our barbecue becomes part of your LBI tradition, one plate at a time. Welcome to Iron Oak Barbecue Company, where Texas-style barbecue is a labor of love. We are deeply passionate about our craft, meticulously tending to our wood-fired pits, slow-smoking hand-selected meats to perfection. Alongside scratch-made sides and desserts, every dish reflects our commitment to quality and tradition. But beyond the food, we're a gathering place, fostering community and camaraderie with each savory bite. We strive everyday to combine our love for barbecue with the love for community, to bring exceptional food and hospitality to our neighbors and friends on the Jersey Shore.

It’s been a rough week for the island. Our hearts go out to all the local businesses hit by the nor’easter and we’re damn grateful to call this place home. This weekend feels like a pretty good time to get out, eat some good food, support your neighbors, and have a little fun.

We’ll be at Beach Haven Chowder Cook-Off both days slinging 12-hour smoked brisket cheesesteaks and our new hickory smoked burgers. Come hungry and support local! See you this weekend.

Labor Day weekend is our last weekend open in Beach Haven for this summer season. You’ll find us at Chowderfest, and barbecue nights will be back at Saltwater Cowboys Cafe this offseason with some new menu items we’re excited to play around with.

Thanks to everyone who’s stopped by, supported us, and eaten a whole lot of barbecue with us this season. Thanks for another good summer, LBI. See you this weekend.
