For our chef, Maria Petridis, her passion for the culinary world began as she was growing up in a small village named Skoutari in Serres, Greece. She would look over her mother’s shoulder any chance she got so that she could learn all the secrets and nuances of the Mediterranean kitchen. Since, she has grown, nurtured, and perfected her talent through experience in the kitchen. Maria’s Mediterranean opened in Bayside back in 2011 and has been committed to providing delicious, homestyle Greek dishes with a modern twist ever since. We use nothing but the highest quality and freshest meats, produce, and ingredients to provide you with a truly authentic Mediterranean dining experience.
