Well, Cher (the name I decided on for my mermaid skeleton cause they're both magnificent and unique in their own way, one's alive and one's well a skeleton) have decided that with this storm coming tomorrow WaterTower Creamery is gonna be closed Friday October 9th (an also 10th-15th cause well I need a bit of time away). This gives me and Robert Karcz a chance to make sure our back porch and our property is picked up and cleaned up. HOWEVER I will be here till 9 tonight so if you ain't ever seen a mermaid skeleton come check her out she sits high upon Dolly 2.0!!!! We hope everyone stays safe and remember if you're shopping at any local grocery/hardware stores (Greers, Ace, Walmart, Bay Minette building supply etc) ESPECIALLY LIQUOR STORE PEOPLE be kind to the employees it isn't their fault there's a hurricane!!!

Y'all when I say these new Halloween/fall flavors are absolutely AMAZING that would be an understatement!!! I was so skeptical about the candy corn one but lawd have mercy it's good. So Halloween flavors are- Candy Corn and Monster Mash. Fall flavors are- German Chocolate Cake, Pumpkin Cheesecake AND Caramel Apple Pie. Please watch this page or MY PERSONAL PAGE regarding if we're going to be open on Friday do to the weather! If you hadn'tnoticed there is a storm a brewin!! An DO NOT FORGET SATURDAY 10TH-15TH WE WILL BE CLOSED!!! WE WILL RE OPEN OCTOBER 16TH 2026!!!

October 10th-15th we will be closed and will re-open October 16th. October 10th we're going to be running (me walking cause I'm slow) the Bras Across the Causeway benefitting breast cancer awareness that stays here locally (Mobile and Baldwin county). Then it's gonna be time for a little family vacation something we have had planned BEFORE we decided to open the ice-cream shop and let's be honest I need a few days to chill. I LOVE what I do but need to catch up on rest and just CHILL. Hopefully people won't be upset with me for closing but also know I NEED THIS to reset my mind, body and spirit.

Dolly 2.0 (YES I officially named my pink fridge Dolly 2.0) says HAPPY UNOFFICIAL/OFFICIAL DOLLY DAY!!! 9-2-5 (9/25) in honor of today we have the Dolly shirt on brought to you by Wilson Taylor Mercantile and also two reasons it's officially/unofficially Dolly day and well it's Friday!!! I have had so many customers ask me if we will be serving soft serve ice-cream and even tho we won't be the amazing people at Java J's Cafe are now serving soft serve along with so many other options. Not just the staff but the owner Lynn Stokes Smith are truly incredible people serving up some many wonderful things. Make sure you stop by and show them all the love that this town has shown me.

I'm working on getting a Snapchat filter (me and ChatGPT have been going round and round to figure that out), but we're heading in the right direction with being on Google!!!! 25 YEARS!!!
I may not be able to tell you what I had for breakfast last week, but I can tell you exactly where I was and what I was doing 25 years ago today.
This past July, my husband and I had the privilege and honor of visiting the site of the Twin Towers and the 9/11 Memorial & Museum in New York City. It was an experience I will never forget.
Seeing the history and standing in a place where so much tragedy, heartbreak, courage, and resilience took place was overwhelming. It wasn't just a realization of what happened—it was a feeling that stayed with you throughout the entire museum. So many times, I found myself covered in chills.
We heard stories from family members—both old and young—including children who never had the opportunity to truly know a parent or grandparent because of the events of that day. Hearing their stories made the tragedy feel even more personal and real.
If you ever have the opportunity to visit, I encourage you to go. Allow yourself to experience the history, hear the stories, and truly appreciate the strength and resilience of our country and the people who were forever changed that day.

So yesterday I got on my personal page and was kind of upset that the new freezer I ordered hadn't come in sooooooo I went and saw Paige E. Coesens at Cricket and bought a Bluetooth speaker doggy THAT COMES WITH A MICROPHONE!!!! I named him Bruiser (I don't think Rob noticed em), well TODAY MY FREEZER CAME IN!!!!! EEEEEEK SO EXCITED!!!! The sink was in the way so we did what every red blooded American would do.....take the sink off the wall.... it fits, she's beautiful I am so excited!!!!

Note to self: should NOT be allowed in Wal-Mart unsupervised, along with should NOT send a picture to the spouse saying "I WANT HIM" cause it gets met with a big ole "NO you have plenty at home from when we owned the station".... so you get the cute doggy with a bone and send the picture of the skeleton you want to your mama!!! Guess who's probably gonna be getting a 7 ft skeleton from his mama!!! WINNING!!!! (I know Wal-Mart isn't locally owned BUT when you need certain things you gotta do what you gotta do)

So I decided (since shopping and eating local is what we should all strive to do) I decided to visit my good friends over at Wilson Taylor Mercantile cause Heather Emmons Taylor posted a picture of this shirt and I just knew I had to have it!!! I could of spent HOURS in that store!!! The prices are AMAZING the selection is top notch, as I was leaving I spotted the hats and koozies AND stickers!! I definitely will be back!!!
