The Battle Mountain Volunteer Fire Department is proud to stand beside one of our own as Kim courageously battles cancer. We invite our community to join us in supporting Kim and her family during this difficult time, just as she has supported so many others throughout the years.

When people think of emergency responders, they often picture firefighters, law enforcement officers, and EMTs. But long before any emergency vehicle arrives on scene, there is another first responder answering the call.

Our dispatchers are the calm voice in moments of fear, the steady hand that guides callers through unimaginable situations, and the vital link that sends help when every second counts. They are the first first responders.

Now, it’s our turn to answer the call for Kim.

One of ours is in need. As a first responder in Lander County, there's a voice that is behind our radio that we know well. That voice comes from a lady that has dedicated many years to helping the citizens of this community. Now its time that we can give back. We are doing a bingo night with many great prizes. Multiple guns will be raffled off as well as many others things. We hope to see everyone there!!!!
