we want to be totally transparent with you:
we’ve held off on raising our prices for as long as we possibly could. before making this decision, we tried everything we could behind the scenes to absorb the rising costs ourselves.
over the past several months, we have shortened our store hours, not because we wanted to close up shop and leave early, but because our evenings simply weren’t as busy as our mornings. staying open later was costing us more than it was bringing in, and cutting those hours helped us keep going a little longer.
we have also made the difficult decision to remove a few items from our menu. while we loved offering a bigger menu, things like smoothies, just weren’t selling and simplifying our menu helped reduce waste and keep costs down.
i promise you as a small business owner, we always try to make changes everywhere else before asking our customers to pay more. we cut costs, make hard decisions, and do our best to ride it out for as long as we possibly can.
but with the continued increase in the cost of supplies, ingredients, cups, and everything it takes to keep our shop running, we are making small price adjustments beginning today.
even with this change, we are committed to keeping our prices as affordable as possible, we truly believe we still offer some of the best prices in town for the quality and care that goes into every drink.
as i mentioned above this decision is not made lightly. our goal is to always serve you high quality drinks, friendly service, and a coffee shop you love stopping at every day. to continue doing that and to continue supporting our amazing baristas this change has become necessary.
