It’s here!

After months of celebrating the people, places, businesses, and organizations that make our community special, we’re excited to officially launch the First Annual Best of Livingston Parish Awards presented by Living In Parish Magazine!

This is the first fan-voted awards program created specifically for Livingston Parish, giving residents the opportunity to recognize the businesses, leaders, organizations, and local favorites they believe deserve the spotlight.

Here’s how it works:

• Phase One: Nominations (Now Open!)
For the next two weeks, we’ll be accepting nominations across all categories. We encourage you to nominate your favorite businesses, nonprofits, restaurants, professionals, community leaders, and local gems throughout Livingston Parish.

• Phase Two: Final Voting
Once nominations close, the top five most-nominated entries in each category will advance to the final voting round, where the community will determine the winners.

• Phase Three: The Best of Livingston Parish Issue
Winners will be featured in our August/September edition of Living In Parish Magazine, which will serve as our official Best of Livingston Parish issue and be distributed parish-wide.

Businesses that advance to the final round will also have special advertising and recognition upgrade opportunities available for the August/September issue. More details on those options will be announced soon.

Now here’s where we need your help:

Tag your favorite small businesses.
Tag your friends.
Tag the restaurant you can’t stop talking about.
Tag the local organization making a difference.
Tag the person who goes above and beyond every day.

Most importantly, don’t just nominate yourself. Help us recognize excellence across every industry and every corner of Livingston Parish.

I am thinking it’s time for a new logo change. Been having this logo since I started back in September 2025 and doing markets in November 2025. Now that’s it’s June 2026 and ready to start moving bigger I think it is time to get a new logo. I could use AI and did use it for like an example logos but I also want to possibly find someone who would make us a logo

Saddle & Sip Café is growing 🤠💜

We’re currently exploring new ways to bring our Louisiana Western café experience to more people — including pop-up markets, a possible travel trailer setup, and eventually a storefront space.

Same mission. Same heart. Just expanding how we show up for the community 📚✨

Still doing our usual markets + events, just leveling up behind the scenes 👀

okay business owners anyone can chime in…

so when you track how much you made at a market or pop up, do you use total payments or gross sales? I made the mistake and used gross sales since I started using Square because before I typed out all of my orders until I found out about Square. I did talk to my mom and got some help of AI and I should be using total payments. What do yall use? I write it all in my notes to see if i’m profitable. It works for me

might be packing up early today. the wind is awesome tho so i won’t be lasting until 6pm. Should I continue to set up over here in Airline between a small shopping center and Valvoline? or should I set up in different places throughout the week? Yall recommend me some locations. I’ll be here until 3pm than time to take a shower and lay down. Also, some new stuff coming up I am so excited. Any markets for this coming Sunday June 14th?
