🍞 DAILY BREAD WITH CHEF VANCE 🍞
Wednesday, August 12, 2026

“Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.”
— Psalm 37:5 KJV

This Wednesday, I’m reminded that I don’t have to carry the weight of figuring everything out.

I can make the plans.
I can do the work.
I can remain disciplined.
I can show up faithfully.

But ultimately, God is the One who brings it to pass.

Some prayers are still unfolding. Some doors haven’t opened yet. Some things may not look the way I imagined they would by now—but I refuse to mistake God’s timing for God’s absence.

I’m committing my plans, my family, my business, my finances, my future, and the desires of my heart back into His hands.

What God has for me does not require me to panic.
I will pray. I will prepare. I will work. I will trust.

And when He brings it to pass, I’ll remember exactly WHO did it. 🙌🏽

📖 Luke 6:36
“Be ye therefore merciful, as your Father also is merciful.”

Today, choose mercy over judgment, grace over retaliation, and compassion over condemnation. We never truly know the battles another person is fighting.

God has extended mercy to us more times than we can count. As we receive His mercy, we should be willing to extend it to others—not because everyone deserves unlimited access to us, but because our hearts should reflect the heart of God.

You can forgive and still have boundaries.
You can show mercy and still use wisdom.
You can love people and still protect your peace.

Tuesday Blessings, beautiful people.
May we give the same grace we so freely ask God to give us.

Please keep in mind that all availability shown is subject to change DAILY as new orders, contracts, and events are booked. An available date today may no longer be available tomorrow.

A few booking reminders:

* Saturdays are reserved for Pick-Up Orders Only | 10 AM–1 PM
* Mondays & Tuesdays are reserved for Contract Baking
* Thursdays & Fridays are reserved for Catering Events, Custom Cakes & Gourmet Desserts
* Sundays are reserved for Meal Preps, Client Pick-Ups, Weekly Reset & Family Time
* Holidays are CLOSED, with holiday orders scheduled for advance pickup.

🥖🌾Daily Bread with Chef Vance🌾🥖

DON’T FORGET GOD WHEN YOU RECEIVE WHAT YOU PRAYED FOR.

Deuteronomy 8:11
“Beware that thou forget not the Lord thy God…”

We pray when we’re waiting.
We seek God when we’re hurting.
We call on Him when the door is closed, the money is low, the answer is delayed, and we don’t know what comes next.

But what happens when the prayer is answered?

When the door finally opens…
When the business begins to prosper…
When the finances increase…
When peace replaces the struggle…
When you finally receive the very thing you cried, prayed, fasted, and waited for?

Don’t forget God.

The blessing should never become more important than the One who blessed you.

Keep praying when life gets good.
Keep thanking Him when you have more than enough.
Keep serving when your name is being called in rooms you once prayed to enter.
Keep giving God the glory when people begin applauding what He helped you build.

Sometimes the greatest test isn’t whether we can trust God while we’re waiting—it’s whether we will still honor Him once we have what we were waiting for.

Stay humble. Stay grateful. Stay close to God.

May we never become so comfortable in the blessing that we forget the prayers that brought us to our knees.

God Desires Abundance, Not a Poverty Mindset

“The blessing of the Lord, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it.”
— Proverbs 10:22

God did not call us to live believing that lack is all we deserve. His Word teaches us to trust Him as our source, provider, and sustainer.

And abundance is bigger than money.

It is peace in your home.
Food on your table.
Wisdom to make good decisions.
Strength to work and build.
Resources to provide for your family.
Enough to give and be a blessing to others.

There is nothing holy about glorifying struggle, and there is nothing wrong with praying for increase. Wealth in the right hands can become provision, opportunity, generosity, legacy, and a blessing to generations.

Jesus said, “I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.” — John 10:10

So pray for more—but also ask God for the wisdom, discipline, character, and stewardship to handle the more.

May your abundance never just stop with you. May God bless you so richly in spirit, wisdom, health, love, opportunity, and provision that your life becomes a blessing to others.

• Garlic Green Beans with Bacon
• Sweet Potato Casserole with Candied Pecans & Toasted Marshmallows
• Molasses & Brown Sugar Cornbread
• Honey Butter Cornbread
• Garlic Butter Steak Bites
• Parmesan Cream Potatoes
• Mediterranean-Style Roasted Veggies
• Hot Honey Sautéed Shrimp
• Chicken Breast Bites
• Roasted Broccoli

A little variety so nobody has to eat the exact same meal every day. Pick a protein, grab your sides, warm it up and dinner is handled! ❤️

🌿 DAILY BREAD WITH CHEF VANCE 🌿

“WAIT FOR THE HARVEST.”
📖 James 5:7–8

Good morning, beautiful people. 🤍

There are seasons when God will ask you to wait.

Not because He has forgotten you.
Not because the promise has been canceled.
Not because your prayers aren’t being heard.

But because some things need time to grow.

James reminds us to look at the farmer. The farmer plants the seed, tends the ground, and then waits for the rain and the harvest. He doesn’t dig up the seed every morning to see if it’s growing. He trusts the process.

And that’s the word for somebody today: STOP DIGGING UP WHAT GOD TOLD YOU TO WAIT FOR.

You prayed about it.
You planted the seed.
You did your part.

Now let God handle the rain.

Your waiting season is not a wasted season. God is developing your patience, strengthening your heart, preparing your character, and positioning you for what you’ve been praying for.

Don’t let the delay make you doubt the promise.

What God has ordained for you will not require you to manipulate, chase, force, or compromise your peace to obtain it.

Stand firm.
Stay faithful.
Keep praying.
Keep working.
Keep believing.

The harvest is coming in God’s timing. 🌱

And when it comes, you’ll understand why God told you to wait.

🌿 CHEF VANCE’S DAILY BREAD 🌿

Forgiveness Doesn’t Mean Access.

📖 Proverbs 4:23 (KJV)
“Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.”

Forgiveness means I have released you from the debt I believe you owe me. It means I choose not to carry anger, bitterness, resentment, or revenge.

But forgiveness does not mean I have to give you the same access to me that you once had.

I can forgive you and still have boundaries.
I can love you and still keep my distance.
I can pray for you and still choose peace over proximity.
I can release the offense without reopening the door.

Forgiveness frees my heart. Boundaries protect what God is rebuilding in me.

Sometimes God teaches us that forgiveness is necessary for our healing, but access is something that requires wisdom, discernment, and trust.

I don’t have to hate you to know that you no longer belong in every room of my life.

Lord, give me the grace to forgive, the wisdom to protect my heart, and the discernment to know who should have access to me. Help me release what hurt me without reopening doors You closed for my protection. Amen. 🤍
