What makes a real Liège waffle different from an ordinary waffle?

These little sugar pearls are folded right into our buttery, brioche-style dough. Unlike regular sugar, they don’t simply disappear.

Today, we celebrate National Waffle Day — and for Louisiana Liège Waffles, this year is especially meaningful.

We’re proud to be celebrating our first National Waffle Day as we prepare to bring the authentic Belgian Liège waffle experience to South Louisiana.

Made with rich brioche-style dough and traditional Belgian pearl sugar, a true Liège waffle is something altogether different — beautifully caramelized on the outside, tender on the inside, and the perfect foundation for the thoughtfully crafted flavors and toppings that make each of our creations unique.

Louisiana Liège Waffles was created around a simple idea: honor an extraordinary Belgian tradition with a Louisiana twist.

Our trailer may not be rolling just yet, but the irons are heating up, the menu is coming together, and something special is on the way.
