The Batesville Market First opened in 1880, The Batesville Market is a historic country store selling freshly prepared deli

We are a historic country store, selling deli, basic groceries, beer and wine (on and off-premises), local and sustainable foods, local gift items, and hosting local live music and events! The Batesville Market is located at the corner of Plank Road and Craig's Store Road in the Batesville Historic District, near Charlottesville, VA. Constructed around 1880, it has had several incarnations, originally as the Charles Joseph Store, then for three generations as the Page's Store. More recently it has been known as the Batesville Store and the Plank Road Exchange, and is now the Batesville Market.

What to do this weekend? Come stay dry, hydrated and well-fed in Batesville! We’re launching our Tiny Store Concert Series … leaning in on what makes us a unique and memorable place to hear - and play - live music!

Tonight is Batesville’s own Willie DE and his full band! Tomorrow is the JD Morrow Band. JD played one of our Sundays in the Country series this summer and he was so incredible, we’re bringing him back for a Saturday night! Sunday is the Second Sunday Bluegrass Jam 2-4pm.
