What a sweet morning at the Smithville Farmers Market! 🤎 Thank you to everyone who stopped by, grabbed some goodies, and spent a little time with us.

It’s always so nice getting to catch up with familiar faces, meet new neighbors, and spend the morning chatting with our community. We also got to introduce our newest little baker, who tagged along for her very first market shift. She had the best time taking everything in and, naturally, wanted to grab anything within reach on our table. 😂

It feels so good to be back at the market, we decided to settle into a 4th Sunday schedule at for now. So if we missed you today, we’ll see you next month!

We’re so excited to be set up at today! After taking some time away, it feels so good to be back doing what we love and sharing our homemade goodies with you. 🫶🏼

A little behind-the-scenes market prep 🫙🌿

This week, we’re putting some of our garden harvest to good use! From our homemade fig jam + strawberry fig jam to country pear butter and our pickled okra, everything is made in small batches and labeled by hand. 🤎

There’s something extra special about turning what we grow at home into something you can take home and enjoy, too.

After taking some well-deserved time away to welcome their sweet baby girl, Anthony and Selena are returning with breads, baked goods, fig jams, pickled okra, salsa, and dry mixes.

Happy Father’s Day to all the amazing dads out there — especially to my dad, and to Anthony on his very first Father’s Day.

Watching him step so naturally into fatherhood has filled a chapter of our lives we always knew was waiting for us. Seeing the love, patience, and joy he pours into our little girl every day has been one of my greatest blessings.

To celebrate, Eliana and I made a homemade tiramisu — and honestly, it’s a pretty perfect snapshot of life in the kitchen these days: pausing every few minutes for nursing breaks, burping sessions, baby cuddles, and plenty of playtime with our sweet girl.

These days are messy, beautiful, and full of love, and I wouldn’t trade them for anything. 🥰

It is with heavy hearts that we learned of the passing of our dear friend Eddie ().

We first met Eddie at the Bastrop Mardi Gras Festival in 2024, where he was walking around capturing footage for his YouTube channel. From that day on, he made a point to stop by and visit us whenever we were set up around Bastrop—whether at Eden East Farm or in front of Store House Market & Eatery.

Eddie always greeted us with a big smile and a story to share about his love of aquatics and fishkeeping. He would often joke that he had far too many aquariums, though it was clear how much joy they brought him.

Whenever he visited our booth, he never hesitated to tell customers how much he loved our apple butter and Anzac cookies. More often than not, he’d purchase some simply to give away to others. His kindness, generosity, and genuine enthusiasm for supporting small businesses were just a few of the many things that made him so special.

We always looked forward to catching up with him, and his presence will be deeply missed.

Please keep Eddie’s family and loved ones in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. ❤️

This past weekend we stopped by our favorite to introduce the newest addition to our little farm fam. 🥹🌱 Seeing all the summer crops making their way in has us so excited for cucumber, pepper, and tomato season ahead!

We’re still settling into life with our newborn, soaking in all the sweet moments, but we’re getting eager to return to markets soon. Stay tuned for our comeback!🥰
