Free Range Kitchen Our goal is to create a fun community restaurant & wine bar with innovative comfort food & friendly We strive to use local ingredients whenever possible.

Free Range Kitchen is the creation of owners Steve & Robin Humble who have been immersed in the Roaring Fork valley's restaurant scene for 25 years. We have combined forces with our chef to create a menu that offers rich flavors in clean food which compliments our active, adventurous, healthy Colorado Mountain Lifestyle. We use responsibly farmed, freshly harvested ingredients as well as his stro

ng relationships supporting the local farming and ranching communities. Our goal is to create a fun community restaurant & wine bar with warm, friendly service and great atmosphere in historic downtown Basalt. With boutique global wine offerings, hand selected by Steve and a wide selection of regional craft beers and specialty cocktails using artisanal spirits and house-made infusions.
