Did you know we offer our Bantam Blend and Single Origin beans in larger sizes than our standard 12oz bag? You can call ahead and place an order for one or multiple 5 pound bags to be prepared for pick-up! The 5 pound bags are great for stocking up on our beans, and offer a better value in both price and weight than buying five separate bags!

This week we are dialed In on the Cortado! Originating in Spain, the Cortado is characterized by balance and smoothness. The Cortado is equal parts espresso to steamed milk. The name Cortado originates from the Spanish verb cortar, which means to cut. Thus, the Cortado "cuts" the espresso with equal parts steamed milk. At KBl our Cortados come with a double shot. We always recommend you take your Cortado for here, and take a minute to enjoy the complexities and profile of the beans of your choosing. Happy Friday!

This week we are dialed in on the Flat White. Originating in New Zealand and Australia, the Flat White stands as a worthy opponent to the Cappuccino. The Flat White traditionally comes in the same ratio as the Cappuccino, except the milk texture differs. Instead of a very thick and airy foam, the Flat White offers a more velvety and silky microfoam, which helps combine the espresso and milk to create a very well balanced drink. If you seek a drink that isn't as rich as a Latte, the Flat White is your best friend. Stop by and try our Flat White with our Bantam Blend, or with a Single Origin!

Who Spilled the Beans? - 005
Did you know that KBL makes its own Cold Brew? It is made primarily with our Bantam Blend, and occasionally with a Single Origin. Cold Brew is made by steeping coarse ground coffee in cold water. Typically steeping overnight, it creates a concentrated and flavor-packed drink. Our Cold Brew is incredibly smooth, and provides a full body thats flavorful, without being overpowering. Our Cold Brew is an amazing summer beverage, and stands as a great alternative to an Iced Americano. It is a staple of our summer farmers markets, but don't worry, we offer it all year!
