March is National Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month! We’re so grateful to know and love a few folks who experience the world a little differently.

There are lots of ways to advocate for our community members with developmental disabilities! One of our favorites is by giving to Yellow Mountain Enterprises (and shopping at Yellow Mountain Treasure Box). This nonprofit serves adult clients in Avery County through advocacy, vocational and educational support, and building community. Visit on the 13th where a percentage of every purchase will go towards programs at Yellow Mountain!
