Okay… we’re ready. ♥️

After quite some time of planning, working, changing things, changing them again, and finally getting to share a little sneak peek with our friends and family, we’re so excited to say that the upstairs at Benjamin’s is officially opening.

Join us Friday, October 16th from 4 - 9 PM for the Grand Opening & Ribbon Cutting of our upstairs restaurant and bar!

This space has been sitting above Benjamin’s waiting for its turn, and watching it finally come to life has been so so special. We’re incredibly grateful for everyone who has supported us downstairs, cheered us on through this process, and helped us get to the point where we can finally say, come upstairs if you want a change of scenery without walking out of our doors.

Come take a look around, grab some food and a drink, celebrate with us, and help us officially break in the newest part of Benjamin’s.

Join Seren Serenity and her fabulous friends for Ectoplasmic Extravaganza, a 21+ Halloween drag show featuring Speakitha Devil, Eddie, Alexa Noir and Kristina Fina!

Doors open at 8pm, show starts at 8:30pm. Tickets are $10 in advance or $15 at the door, and we’ll also have a 50/50 raffle.

This will be a private event, so grab your tickets ahead of time at Benjamin’s or contact Seren to get yours.

Happy Saturday everyone! Today we’re doing something a little different. 🇯🇲

Starting at 11 AM, we’re serving up REAL Jamaican cuisine and we’re going until it’s gone.

Jerk chicken, oxtail, curry goat, rice & beans, steamed veggies, mac & cheese… the kind of plate you’re going to be thinking about long after you leave.

And because obviously you need something to wash all of that down, the bar will be open too.

No reservations, no saving some for later. When it’s gone, it’s gone, so get here early, grab a plate and stay for a drink.

New month, new specials, new reasons to tell the group chat you’re going out to eat.

October’s specials have officially landed at Benjamin’s and the kitchen staff is not playing aroundddd!

We’ve got a little bit of everything happening: hot honey and jalapeños, Baja shrimp, BBQ comfort food, scampi, something sweet for after, and of course Derry After Dark is sticking around for October because spooky season in Bangor simply requires it.

Take a look at the menu, pick your fighter, and come hungry! We’ll take care of the rest.

Summer drinks had their moment but it’s fall’s turn now, Happy October everyone! 🎃

In honor of tomorrow being friYAY (corny i know),

Say hello to Autumnal Sips, our brand new seasonal cocktail menu at Benjamin’s!

Apple c***r, maple, chai, pumpkin spice, toasted pecan, walnut toffee wh***ey and all the other flavors that make us willing to forgive Maine for getting dark at 5 PM.

Down to the Core. White Mountain Maple. The Last Bloom Autumn Remedy. Gourd Behavior. Old Money (not pictured yet).

Six new cocktails with one important question: which one are you trying first?

And because fall also means beanie season, we’re giving away a Benjamin’s beanie!

That’s how you do a soft launch! Thank you so much to everyone who joined us yesterday for our friends & family soft launch. Seeing a space that has sat quiet for so long finally filled with people, drinks, food, laughter and familiar faces was a pretty special feeling.

It wasn’t about having everything perfect. It was about opening the doors, breaking the space in, and sharing this next little chapter of Benjamin’s with some of the people who have supported us along the way!

To everyone who came upstairs, grabbed a seat, had a drink, ate with us and helped make the first day feel like home, thank you.

There’s still more to come and plenty we’re working on, but today gave us a little glimpse of what this space can become, and we’re really excited about it.

First one upstairs is officially in the books. ♥️

We can’t wait to show you what’s next.

I don’t know who invented Thirsty Thursday, but I owe them a kiss on the lips!

Come downtown, order something you can’t make at home and tell your bartenders something you probably shouldn’t because we have McKenzie until 9 and Benny 9-1 and lucky for you, they love a trauma dump.

You could be responsible and go home after work but Thursday is basically Friday with consequences and lucky for you (again) we don’t judge.

We’re open late, come see us, we miss you!🍸♥️

Your bartenders tonight are Hailey from 7 to 9 and Ginny from 9 to close, so plan accordingly and maybe bring a poncho.

Hailey will be starting the night off responsibly, and then at 9 we hand the building over to a woman who has already proven she will throw an entire tray of waters on the floor in the name of customer service.

Come have a drink. They’d love to see you.
Well, Hailey definitely would. We haven’t asked Ginny.
