This weekend was one for the books! Thank you for having me The International Nerdlesque Festival✨ ! It’s always a great time being a part of something so wonderful and spectacular. The compliments and praise I get from people I haven’t met before gives me the drive to keep going. And seeing regular faces who get something from me EVERY 👏🏾SINGLE 👏🏾TIME 👏🏾fills my heart like you wouldn’t believe! Big shout out to Dionisio Massimo Wright for being my right hand in the kitchen! I love the community that the TINF celebrates.

Yesterday was amazing. Big shout out to Yelp DC for inviting me to participate. And big thank you to Yelp MD Burbs for connecting us! Every event I do gives me the opportunity to meet other vendors who enjoy doing what they do. Hearing there stories and sharing mine. Receiving kind words and encouragement from people who stop by my table fills my heart. It’s a labor of love and I can’t see myself doing anything else. Next up The International Nerdlesque Festival✨ in September!

Last week was exhausting but worth it! Being a vendor for was a blast. Meeting and talking with people about what I do or more so WHY I do it. Not because I’m just good at make sweets but because I love making someone’s day a little bit sweeter. Can’t wait to do it again at the Summer Dreams Block Party!

Your favorite baker turned 33 on 5/1 and I have to say one of the best birthdays I had. I’m thankful to my sister for really making me feel special on my day when my plans fell through. We ate, we laughed, just vibing the ways sisters should and my heart couldn’t be more full. My sister has been someone I could turn for a second opinion or when I starting doubting myself with craft.
