Since closing last July, it's a pleasure to announce that my liquor license has been bought! A little about "who" purchased it. Please check out their web-site listed below. Bringing back some Theatre & Art to Howard St. in Mt. Vernon.

Le Mondo is an artist-owned-and-driven project positioning Baltimore as a center for theatre and the live arts, nationally and internationally. Comprised of three buildings on Baltimore’s historic Howard Street corridor, the project will champion a diverse community of arts and community organizations, individual artists, curators, and arts-lovers in the city.

It was quite a final night at Jay's! Linda, John and Special Guest Bartender Wanda got a last dance with the drinkers of Mount Vernon, Baltimore and for that we thank you! Also a huge thanks to the comedians, singers, and other friends who joined us, not only tonight but over the past years.

We all hate goodbyes, so we'll see you around

Although we've been closed since Saturday, we will be opening tonight for the very LAST time. John will be bartending and hosting his comedy for your entertainment. So please join us. To all the loyal customers that have supported the bar and myself I THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart. Please continue to support the local bars that are still operating. Seems Mt. Vernon is shrinking at a very fast pace. Thanks again, and God Bless!!!

Got a Pride Weekend Hangover? So does Jay's...

We'll be CLOSED for the next few days while, but please do make plans to visit us Thursday night for an unforgettable special event night!

"The Second Coming" is a Stoney Show special event, with music & comedy, and drink specials you will never see the likes of again. With Resurrection on draught and Baltimore's freshest on the mic, there's no question that if you miss Thursday night, you'll feel like a dork Friday morning

In the meantime, please visit some of our friends at the neighborhood's other great bars and hangouts, they're sure to have good stories to help fill the time til Thursday at 7...
