I raised two children and helped my husband with his career.
Everyone else and everything else came first.
I made homemade meals, cleaned the house, solved the problems, and somehow always found myself at the bottom of the list.
When I turned 50 and finally decided to invest in myself, I went back to school. I graduated with a 3.5 and went on to get my bachelors then decided what I really wanted to do was start my own business. So. I took non-credit classes how to build a website and SUNY ADK start-up etc.
These 3 habits helped me feel like myself again:
1. I started in my 50s learning everything I could know to start a business.
Focus-small things done consistently, completely changed how capable I feel every day.
2. Supporting other small businesses and feeling supported too.
π΄ 3. I stopped treating sleep like it was optional. Quality sleep has become one of the best investments Iβve made in my health.
The biggest lesson?
It wasnβt and isnβt too late at 50, 60 or 70.
And if youβre reading this... it probably isnβt too late for you either.π
