This Saturday I'm happy to help with the Open Range Gravel Race once again. Biebs2java will have Tanzanian peaberry brewing first thing Saturday morning in the large percolator to welcome the riders and staff. Many miles.....many countries......there are some things I've forgotten......many I remember....one great memory I know I've never felt a brotherhood as I did when I earned my ega! I've crossed many paths in life with great people. Some great Marines....devil dogs I call brother......and many people that weren't Marines that helped shape my world into who I am today........as I toast my Marine brothers also know I'll have a glass for all of you .....thank you for crossing paths with me and in some way adding to my world....... I wouldn't change a thing....... Semper Fidelis.....and happy birthday Marines..... 250!

I did my first swim workout into the mix of everything else. I was able to get some pointers from a former swimmer along with
My last true swim workout was maybe 1998? In preparation for going overseas......(another story...another time!)
So I learned to respect the water again today through a series of workouts and drills. More on all this later. 🤣
Then I stopped by to pick up some supplements I'm finding helpful in my pursuit of fun filled aging.
and and have been very knowledgeable in the latest innovative supplements that have come a long way since I used some of them back in the 80s and early 2000s. If you're looking for any help with some knowledgeable people, be sure to stop by the new location on Shawnee mission parkway and Antioch.

Never surprises me anymore how people are not actually driving their cars. Even when traffic is light they cannot wait a few seconds to do a full mirror check etc. Be safe out there in zombie driver land........

This Saturday 1/11 is the second annual Will Ensley Invitational swim meet! It starts at 10 am at the Shawnee Mission Aquatic Center in Lenexa. Come see some crazy fast swimming 🏊🏻 , stop and say hi to Biebs2java . Also meet Will's former teammates and family while enjoying the world's smoothest coffee. Also at the event will be Midwest Transplant Network. I'll have a very large pot of Congo Women's Peace coffee brewing for those of you that brave the cold. You don't have to even be a swim fan. Just stop by and say hi and enjoy the day! And there may be another storm rolling in to keep things interesting. See you there!
