When you clock out but you're not quite ready to leave. 😂🍽️

After spending her shift serving up some of East Bakersfield's favorite comfort food, it was finally her turn to eat!

The only problem? Deciding WHAT to order. 🤣

The wings were calling her name, but our Chile Verde Quesadilla won this round. 🌶️🧀🤤

And judging by that first bite… we think she made the right choice!

Some places become part of your family’s story. ❤️

She remembers coming to this East Bakersfield diner back when it was Cindy’s. She came with her parents, her grandparents came here too, and years later she saw Honey I’m Home and decided to bring her own daughter in.

They loved it.

Now they come back at least once a month. 🥹

Stories like this mean more to us than we can put into words. We know there are decades of memories connected to this little diner, and we’re grateful that Honey I’m Home gets to be part of the memories families are making here today.

From grandparents, to parents, to kids… there will always be a seat for you at our table. ❤️🏡
