Big thanks to Low Key Famous last night!! Wowww!! What a band!! And thank you to DJ Richie for the lunch vibes!

Thursday: Cruise Night ft DJ Richie Rich 5pm (Condors Ticket Giveaway!!)
Friday: DJ Richie Rich Dance Party 7pm
Saturday: Corey Dain 1pm Last Call 7pm
Sunday: Penny Marie 4pm

We are so back yall!! We had an amazing first day back but look to keep it going through the weekend!! Remember, we have HAPPY HOUR ALL DAY SUNDAY FOR FOOTBALL!! Also, food prices have been lowered across the board!!! Hope to see you all this weekend!!

⭐️⭐️WE ARE OPEN⭐️⭐️

Today is the DAY! We are finally back open with our full menu!! That being said we have rolled back prices to make our menu a little more affordable for the working class Bakersfield family.
Today we have Rich DjRichierich Soltero playing tunes during lunch and then we have Low Key Famous on the patio from 7-10pm tonight!! Let’s make it an amazing Wednesday!! We are SO back!

⭐️⭐️CHUYS UPDATE PART 2⭐️⭐️

Are you ready?!?!? We certainly are!! We will be reopening Wednesday October 14th at 11am!! We will are so excited to being our staff and guests back that we’re going to make a party out of it!! Low-Key Famous will be playing the patio from 7-10pm!! We are so grateful to the City of Bakersfield, our contractors and our staff for helping us get back open in a senior timely manner!!! We will see your beautiful faces on Wednesday!!

⭐️⭐️CHUYS TRUNK OR TREAT⭐️⭐️

We are making this happen, folks! October 29th from 6:30-9:30 we will hold our annual Trunk or Treat right here at Chuys on Rosedale! Big thanks to BCCC - Bakersfield Car Club Council for helping us put this together again this year! We will have DJ Richie Rich out there spinning all your favorite tunes!!

Cars participating must be parked at 6pm!! You must stay for the entirety of the event! You must have at LEAST 3,000 pieces of wrapped candy!! We had over 6K people show up last year with a line wrapped around the Original Roadhouse! Please be on time, please be kind. Please drive slowly as there will be kids everywhere!!

Let’s make this a fun event and remember it’s about the kids!!

⭐️⭐️CHUYS UPDATE⭐️⭐️

Just wanted to say thank you to Emcor and Independent Fire for getting our restaurant rebuild underway!! No we are not selling. No we are not closing for good. No we are not cancelling Trunk Or Treat (October 29th). Chuys has been a staple in this community for a long time. There will always be folks that want to see it fail but I can assure you I won’t let that happen. We will partially open soon with a limited item menu until we receive the new hood and have it installed. Thank you for your patience and I appreciate all the support coming from staff, clientele and vendors. We miss you guys. See you soon. Drew

Unfortunately we are closed until we get our kitchen fixed back up. While we are closed, we invite you to try out some other amazing spots in Bakersfield. Some of our favorite places are:

Pour House (Great drink prices and amazing live music)

Lengthwise Pub (great b**r and great service)

The Vault ( Ryan did not pay me to say this)

The Social House ( Great Happy Hour)

SONDER (Dante is over there. He will take great care of you)

Stir (Great ownership and amazing management)

The Belvedere (great live music and cocktails)

Chefs Noodle Bar (my favorite Asian fusion spot)

Don Pericos (2nd Best Margs in town 😉 great taco Tuesday deals)

Roosters ( Great Country Vibes and Dj Durk is the man)

Ethel’s (Great people and great music)

Kan Pai (Incredible Happy Hour)

Jin Sushi (Brimhall location is my favorite)

Pyrenees (Basque Babyyyyyy)

There’s so many more but my thumbs hurt.

While we really did try to do the food trucks with the bar open, somebody else in this world didn’t like it and reported us. That’s a shame because all we’ve ever wanted to do is support the community and the marketplace around us. We don’t see anyone as “competition” but as another business that shares the same clientele.

This industry is already SO difficult to survive in. Just want to say thank you to the Chuys Staff, the incredible guests and our live music friends. We will be back soon. Stay tuned. -Drew

Well, it’s been a week folks. Kitchen is under construction so we will have food trucks in the parking lot for you to visit. 10% of their sales will go back to the Burn Foundation. While we may not have food, we have delicious drinks and cocktails for you to enjoy! Hopefully we will see you soon!
