It's the annual Blackberry Festival this weekend in downtown Bremerton! Come celebrate at our Cups downtown Bremerton location (4th & Pacific in the heart of downtown). We will be offering a large number of blackberry-themed drinks & pastries from 5am to 8pm Friday 9/1, 6am to 6pm Saturday 9/2 & Sunday 9/3, and 5am to 7pm Monday 9/4. Special include:

Made with fresh, simple ingredients, including: filling grains, healthy fats & proteins, and yummy fruits & veggies. There 4 bowls to choose from with 3 vegan house made sauces. Bowls can be customized upon request.

Not vegan? You can add a non-vegan protein too and make it your own!

We are a local, family-owned business. Our featured employee this month is Judy! Judy has been with us for nearly 2 years at our Bainbridge Island cafe. She was very excited recently to celebrate her 72nd birthday! Judy’s main duties are servicing our lobby and doing dishes. She also enjoys chatting about her favorite TV shows with customers. Some longtime islanders may recognize Judy from her prior stint as a lobby attendant at the Bainbridge Island McDonald’s for several years before she came to work with us.

Our favorite things about Judy are her infectious smile and ceaseless laugh. She also has great enthusiasm for working at Cups and takes a lot of pride in her role.

Here are some questions and answers from Judy directly:

What do you like most about working as Cups?
I like my job a lot. My favorite task is doing dishes. I also like my apron. It has big pockets.

What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?
I like to knit and watch TV. I knit a lot of blankets.

What is your favorite food or drink item at Cups?
I like the quiches and the peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. My favorite are the quiches.
