Well… this is awkward.

Turns out when you build a sandwich shop around really good bread, people buy a lot of sandwiches.

Like… a lot.

We’re working with our LOCAL bakery partner to keep up with demand, and we’re all learning in real time what happens when things get a little crazier than expected.

The good news is we’re selling sandwiches faster than we ever imagined.

The bad news is sometimes that means we run out of bread.

We’re not switching to cheaper bread. We’re not cutting corners. We’re just trying to scale the right way while keeping the quality where it belongs.

So if we sell out early once in a while, bear with us. We’re getting our feet underneath us.

And honestly? Having too many people want our sandwiches is a pretty damn good problem to have.

🚨Just a heads up, we’ll be closed in the shop on Saturday. We have a very large wedding.

Not everybody knows this, but the sandwich shop was about survival. Catering is our focus and the sandwich shop has turned into one hell of a little marketing tool. 😳😉

I’m changing the salad this week to………..

🇮🇹 The Italian Cookout Panzanella. (I ate that whole bowl.) Tastes like summer at Gram’s.

No soup this week. I expected it to be hotter than it is. Leave me alone. 💀

But don’t forget we have pretzels, so relax. 🥨

We’re gonna run the Cheesesteak back for one more week because it was so popular.

Food is how my Grandma fixed everything.
Every time I walked into her house she’d ask:
“Honey, Did you eat(sounded like one word)? Why don’t you ever let me feed you?”

And before I could answer she’d start naming everything in the house until eventually something sounded good.

Food was how she showed love.
I think somewhere along the way I became the embodiment of that woman.
My staff has to rein me in from giving things away all the time.

I want people to enjoy good food. I want people to share it. I want people to feel like they were taken care of.
That’s why value matters so much here.
You’ll get really good, well-thought-out, cared-about food at a fair price.

If you’re traveling to come here(I can’t believe I just typed that), I would highly recommend ordering online ahead of time which will secure your food. I would feel terrible if you drove here and wasted a trip.
