Recently, we visited in Elgin, Texas, and spent time with founder Brandon Guinn learning more about the heart behind the farm.

Simple Promise Farms is a mission-based nonprofit that empowers individuals recovering from addiction through meaningful work, service, community, and transformative relationships. Located alongside Ranch House Recovery, the farm creates opportunities for people in recovery to reconnect with purpose through caring for the land and serving others.

What Brandon and the team are building goes far beyond farming. It’s about healing, dignity, second chances, and creating a community rooted in grace, connection, and personal growth.

Partnerships like this matter deeply to us, and we’re honored to support the work they’re doing in Elgin. 🌱

We recently spent time at , a 13-acre certified organic teaching farm just outside of Austin, and one of our trusted partners at Farmhouse.

Hearing directly from their team gave us a deeper look at the work behind the farm and the intention behind everything they grow.

What they’re doing goes beyond growing food. They’re helping build a stronger local food system from the ground up by training new farmers, increasing access to fresh food, and creating pathways for people who want to make farming a sustainable career.

Partnerships like this matter to us. Because supporting local farms isn’t just about what ends up on your plate, it’s about the people, the land, and the future of food in our community 🌱🫶
