Round Eye Rolls

Round Eye Rolls We make egg rolls anything but traditional. The idea came from a sandwich, the Monte Cristo, then sp Fried tastes good. Sandwiches came first. It was.

From the random decision to make a Monte Cristo sandwich more portable/less messy, sprung a never ending canvas of ideas. I'll bet a Reuben would be good too! Elvis' fried peanut butter and banana, fry up a Cuban or a roast beef melt. Slowly the idea spread beyond the sandwiches and began to develop into something bigger and better. It didn't have to exist already to make it a delicious egg roll,

but it could. Italian sausage melts, boudin pies, fluffernutters, you name it, the weirder it got, the better it got. The idea is constantly evolving and the menu is constantly changing. Ideas and suggestions are always welcome, I want this to stay fresh and interesting. The normal egg rolls have already been perfected, so I'm going to take a crack at something new!

The pizza continues with four cheese, all beef pepperoni, margherita, and tre porcellini (prosciutto, soppressata, and capicola)! I know it's not egg rolls, but it is delicious! 3 to 10 today.

We had a good thing going and then a mean person hit me with a car. A lot of things have changed, but most importantly, I am almost completely healed. For now, a lot of things will be different. One day the egg rolls will be back, but here come pizzas in the meantime! Starting out simple, but soon some tinkered non-traditional food will be showing up. I have been excited to make a chicken and waffle pizza on a Belgian waffle for quite some time. The ideas will keep coming. This Sunday brings pepperoni, four cheese, margherita, and one with prosciutto, capicola, and sopressata. (I can not bear to say "meat trio.") If you are having trouble remembering what kind of food is being made, just call them Mangia-cake Pies until further notice. Good eating folks!
