As we head into fall, we’re ready to reach for some of our favorite cocktails to carry us into the cooler days ahead. One of those favorites is our take on the Bobby Burns, a classic Scotch-based relative of the Manhattan with more than a century of history behind it.

One of the earliest known appearances of the Bobby Burns dates to the early 1910s at the Big Brass Rail inside New York’s Waldorf-Astoria Hotel, with the cocktail later finding its way into Harry Craddock’s 1930 The Savoy Cocktail Book. Named for beloved Scottish poet Robert “Rabbie” Burns, the drink has endured as a fitting celebration of Scotch, tradition, and thoughtful cocktail craftsmanship.

Our version combines our own RR House Blended Scotch, 10-Year Islay Scotch, Punt e Mes, , Abbott’s Bitters, salt tincture, and aromatic lemon oils for a rich, warming, and beautifully layered sip.

And if you’re looking to make it extra special, try our President’s Version, featuring 30-Year Single Malt Scotch.

Here’s to crisp evenings, cozy pours, and cocktails made for the season.

Cheers to you!

At The Roosevelt Room, it’s the people behind the scenes who help make everything we do possible, and this month’s spotlight is on Alejandro Ugarte.

Originally from Mexico City, Alejandro joined The Roosevelt Room team nine months ago after previously working for the Mexican government in Oaxaca. As a member of our maintenance team, Alejandro plays an important role in keeping our space in top shape and making sure our team has what they need to provide the best possible experience for our guests.

Outside of work, Alejandro has no shortage of hobbies. He loves riding dirt bikes, taking motorcycle road trips, fishing, spending time on Lake Travis, and getting behind the wheel of go-karts and race cars. He’s also a licensed pilot and, true to form, can fix anything with a motor—whether it belongs to a car, motorcycle, or an A/C compressor (which we all know how important that can be during these hot summer days).

For Alejandro, hospitality means creating a welcoming atmosphere and treating everyone with kindness, respect, and genuine care. One of the things he values most about The Roosevelt Room is being part of a team that supports one another and shares a commitment to providing exceptional service to every guest who walks through our doors.

We’re incredibly grateful to have Alejandro as part of our crew and appreciate everything he does—often behind the scenes—to help keep The Roosevelt Room at its best.

Next time you see him around, be sure to say hello!

Cheers to Alejandro! 🥃

With a backstory as intriguing as its flavor, the Saturn is a Tiki-era classic that's worth savoring during your next visit.

Created by J. “Popo” Galsini in 1967, the drink won him the International Bartenders Association World Championship while working at the Outrigger in Laguna Beach. After fading into obscurity, the recipe was rediscovered by Jeff “Beachbum” Berry () in the early '90s on the side of a glass he found in a San Diego thrift store.

Our take on the Saturn keeps the spirit alive with a unique blend of , , JDT Velvet Falernum, House-made Orgeat, Liber & Co Passion Fruit Syrup, Lemon, Yuzu, and seasoned with Cassia & Salt Tinctures. It's served Kaikan-style with a large rock in the center of the glass, then garnished with a rim of Golden Rock Candy to mimic its eponymous planet.

Come experience a sip of tropical history. Cheers to you!

Your favorite cocktail bar, showing up wherever you are. That's the idea behind , our mobile cocktail catering truck built for people who want their next event to be a level above.

Our bartenders know their craft and bring real care to every pour, so your guests walk away with drinks worth remembering. We serve everything out of a custom-built 1967 Citroën HY, a true vintage beauty that turns heads before anyone's even had a sip.

Weddings, milestone birthdays, corporate gatherings, or just a night that deserves to feel special... we bring world-class cocktails, food, and hospitality right to your door.
