Samurai Nite is my idea, my dream to bring Japanese musicians to Austin for a special show called Samurai Nite, featuring at least Kao=S and Chihiro Yamazaki and her band. However they all live in Japan now so I need some cash to fly them to Austin and put them up. $75,000 should about cover it. Perhaps I need a special page to put that money together.

Sorry, nothing going on now. Kao=S is in Germany, Chihiro and her band are jamming in Japan still. And I am here in Austin, planning for someday. Thanks y'all

Howdy, it has been a while. And for everyone waiting patiently for my dream - Samurai Nite, thanks.
I still hope to do this one day - and hopefully soon. Y'all know my main deal, these are musicians coming from Japan and it takes some cash to get them over to Austin. At this point I do have the 2 guaranteed bands, Kao=S and Chihiro Yamazaki and the Route 14 band, both incredible sounds. Check them out on youtube when you can.

So what is Samurai Nite? Samurai Nite is that event featuring excellent Japanese musicians who love Austin and want to come back and play a big show in Austin. We will begin in the morning with some Japanese food, and then entertainment in the afternoon including our local Japanese drummers and Eriko Higuchi, a classical Japanese dancer (Golden Dawn Arkestra). Our evening show will include Route 14 - excellent Japanese Jazz fusion band, Kao=S, and one excellent Japanese rock n' roll band. (TBD).

Tried to post here a little while ago, but missed it. Anyway, Samurai Nite needs an airline to help and I've tried talking with different ones. Any ideas? My main band, Kao=S, was featured in CNNs show 'The Art of Movement recently and you can see that at http://youtu.be/dj7tjZlwano It's about 11 minutes long and interesting.

Samurai Nite is rolling along. We have the first 2 nights of Anime ATX and our prices will be so fair. Wonderful Japanese rock n' roll with fire dancing and the large Japanese drums.

Right now Samurai Nite has 2 bands on for sure. Sawasphool, from Tokyo, and Kao=S, also from Tokyo. I plan to talk to the Pillows and Fuzzy Control on my visit to Japan later this summer.

Samurai Nite is officially on for the last April weekend of 2014. And that is the weekend for ATX Anime, Austin's first real Anime festival. Pay close attention.

Gee, Samurai Nite moves along. During SXSW I focused on Kao=S, a band interested in Samurai Nite and we had a big success for them. Kao=S may play the Fuji Rock Festival in Japan this summer. Still rolling along, and we'll see what happens. Thanks y'all, I'll keep everyone posted.
