Today, Tavel Bristol Joseph joins countless hospitality professionals in Chicago for the James Beard Foundation Awards. Nominated for Outstanding Pastry Chef, we can’t wait to cheer him on from Austin and San Antonio!

For over 10 years, Tavel has been creating incredible desserts across our hospitality group. From Tres Leches at Canje to Kakigori at Hestia to the infamous Monster Cookie at Henbit, Tavel’s depth of creativity is vast. In 2024, Tavel launched Nicosi, an intimate 20 seat dessert centered experience at Pullman Market. This is a one of kind experince and in 2025, Nicosi was recognized by Michelin with a star.

Tavel’s magic goes deeper than his menu creations. As our Chief Operating Officer/ Master of Vibe- Tavel’s dedication and perspective on the hospitality industry have inspired countless people. Especially us.

Tavel, its been an amazing 10 years and we are beyond excited to see you recognized! We will be cheering LOUDLY in Texas!!

Summer starts NOW — let the fun begin! We've got plenty of tasty collaborations coming up so mark your calendars accordingly 🗓️

First up, we welcome Tiffany Derry at Ladino THIS THURSDAY for some Southern Hospitality.
Then, Paperboy takes over Ezov THIS SUNDAY and Hestia's Lone Star Series kicks off with Tatemo in TWO WEEKS on the 16th.

Plus, enjoy happy hour daily at Lefty’s and at as well. On Wednesdays, we eat burgers (along with patatas bravas and wine). Tune in on Thursdays for Tapas & Tinis with female djs spinning from 6 to 10pm while you enjoy a special snack menu paired perfectly with martinis.

More of a morning person? Rise and shine at where breakfast is served daily and wellness club goes down every Saturday at 11am.

We feel lucky that we’ve been able to celebrate 10 birthdays with you. Hope this one is extra special. Cheers to you Alex! Happy Birthday!

These days he’s our Service Manager at but you may remember him from which he joined back in April of 2016 . We must’ve won him over with the pasta there but he loves pasta of all kinds! 🍝 His other favorite local spot to carbe diem is .

His favorite thing about this industry is “The endless potential for learning! Once you get deep into it, you realize food & beverage are inseparable from history, geography, climatology, sociology/anthropology, and culture in general...everything is connected and learning about how all of these things inform the human experience is so gratifying and helps connect you to people in a way that few other things do.”

We will be open regular hours and will be donating a portion of sales to RAICES -- a Texas-based nonprofit that provides immigration legal defense, bond assistance and advocacy for immigrants, refugees and asylum seekers facing detention or deportation.
