Excited for this one! It's been too long, but we are now offering each of our direct trade Nicaraguan coffees for sale as single estate offerings. Last weekend, our team had an incredible experience attending the Color of Coffee Collective in Houston, TX! We learned so much about coffee culture and got to connect with some amazing people in the industry. From trying new brews to attending informative workshops, every moment was an adventure. ✅1/2 cup of frozen bananas,
✅3/4 cup of our Casita Cold Brew,
✅1/4 cup milk of choice,
✅ 1 tbsp of maple syrup!

In honor of , we wanted to showcase this gem of a photo from 2017, of co-founder Blake with brand new Coffee Roaster, brand new, shiny, and (right on brand with Tiny House!). This brings us joy because it’s the same roaster that we still use today to expertly roast small batches of our single origin coffees to order, both it and Blake haven’t aged one bit.. Tiny House Coffee, the elixir of eternal youth 😏😉😅

Meet Maria + Kelly, a mother/daughter team working as coffee pickers in Nicaragua 🇳🇮 Kelly is currently studying + thriving in her second year of school. Because Donaldo, one of our producer partners, is able to pay his workers double the national average to pick coffee on his farm, Maria and Kelly can not only support their family with their earnings, but also afford the necessary school supplies for Kelly to succeed in her studies 🤓📚

Rise + Grind!
This week in the cafe, we're featuring a delicious coffee from the Kerinci Valley, in West Sumatra, Indonesia. More than 300,000 people live in this fertile highland valley + almost everyone relies on agriculture for their family income.
This specific lot comes from 600 small producers, who are trained in sustainable practices and commit to not grow their coffee within the National Park, verified by on-site visits. The hard work of the processing team makes this coffee shine. It has a clean taste ( + not the earthy tones Sumatran coffee is known for). Instead, you pick up notes of peach, red w**e and chocolate. Visit the cafe to try it out as espresso or drip today.
