We are still reveling in the joy of this incredible evening. 💚 Thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate our Ribbon Cutting and Grand Opening. Seeing so many friends, customers, fellow business owners, Chamber members, family, and community leaders gathered together to support Rooted Cafe & Catering was truly overwhelming in the best possible way.

This milestone would not have been possible without the encouragement, guidance, and generosity of so many people throughout this journey. A special thank you to Steve Carnes of KDC Designs for serving as our host for the evening and for all he does as a West Austin Chamber Ambassador. Thank you to Ray Freer of RF Insurance Masters LLC, whose friendship, guidance, and support have been a constant since I first joined the West Austin Chamber in 2019.

I am grateful to Danny Smith, Don Sesler, and Michelle Hagli for representing our Board of Directors, and to Ambassadors Dena Dupuie, Teresa Palm, Juliann Gorman and Shirley Tian for their support and encouragement. What a privilege to help celebrate the incredible teachers and staff at Grandview Hills Elementary on their last day of school. 🍎❤️

Yesterday, our team had the honor of catering lunch for nearly 60 educators who have spent the past year investing in the lives of their students.

Teachers pour so much of themselves into our community, and we’re grateful for the opportunity to give back in a small way through fresh, nourishing food.

To all the teachers, administrators, and school staff wrapping up another school year: thank you for your dedication, patience, and impact. We hope you have a wonderful and well-deserved summer break!

Many people reach for another cup of coffee when they hit an energy slump mid-morning.

But sometimes the issue isn't caffeine.

It's that breakfast didn't keep them fueled.

Research has consistently shown that higher-protein breakfasts can help increase feelings of fullness, support more stable energy levels, and even improve concentration compared to lower-protein, higher-carbohydrate breakfasts.
