Supporting local is sexy - you deserve a brunch as hot as you are 😜

Loaded baked potato pirogies are back at Ovenbird! Enjoy them on our menu weekends only, or order them through catering (link in bio). All of our pierogis are made from scratch, by hand, by people in your own community. AI could NEVER 😜 And isn’t that just the beauty of small businesses? Thanks to the support from folks like y’all, we get to do what we love, the way we want too - the old fashioned way. ❤️ We love you Austin! 🫶🥟

What to learn how to make your own pierogi? Check our link in bio for our upcoming pierogi class and join Chef Sarah in the kitchen for some fun! 🥟

The impact you made across generations is profound, and the kindness you showed the LGBTQIA+ community will never be forgotten. Thank you for leading by example and showing us it’s a wonderful thing to love yourself for exactly who you are, and for helping us all understand the power of kindness. You always said - when someone is without a smile, you should give them yours. We love you, Angel. ❤️

Tomorrow, Saturday August 15th the queens are taking over again at Ovenbird ATX for our Bobs Burgers Drag brunch! 🍔🔥 And what kind of place would we be if we didn’t honor Bobs legacy, and do the the burger of the day? We’re featuring one Bob was particularly proud of - his Bet it all on Black Garlic burger. House-made bun, black garlic mayo, fresh spinach, mozzarella cheese and fresh ground chuck. Served with hand cut fries - obviously! This special is a drag exclusive! Burger will be available for one day only until sold out. So come on out and support local q***r art, and try our blazin beef and big ‘ol buns (credit to courtneys dad) 😜

Good morning South Austin!
During this tax free shopping weekend we will be doing a school supplies drive for Pleasant Hill Elementary! The school directly behind us! If you are school shopping today please consider buying an extra glue stick or spiral notebook. Bring it here so we can donate it directly to these kiddos!

Thank you so much, we love you! 😁🫶

🚨🚨Call to action!!🚨🚨

Hey South Austin! We are looking for your support in aiding Pleasant Hill Elementary this school year. With the recent Austin ISD budget cuts, teachers and students need as much help as they can get. Pleasant Hill Elementary is for low income residents and most families use government programs to support themselves.

Please if you are out school supply shopping for tax free weekend, consider donating school supplies for these kiddos. These kids deserve to have a fully rounded education and the teachers shouldn’t have to use their own paychecks to cover their supplies.

Anything helps! We love you so much! Thank you South Austin!
