We’ve been hearing great things about this newer Augusta spot and finally made it in. El Tejano is locally owned by a family from Miami, bringing Cuban and Latin-inspired flavors to Augusta in a fast-casual, easygoing setting.

The service was terrific, the portions were generous, and everything we tried was packed with flavor.

Featured:

🌴 Tostanada Trio – SO good and perfect for sharing. Hawaiian tostones topped with black beans, pickled onions, cotija, guajillo aioli, and three different meats.

🐷 Chicharrón – Super crispy, rich, and delicious pork belly bites served with guacamole and lime.

🥩 Ropa Vieja – Tender shredded beef with yellow rice, black beans, and sweet plantains.

⭐ Vaca Frita – Our favorite. Crispy shredded beef with grilled onions, white rice, black beans, and garlic aioli.

🥤 Agua Frescas – Made with real fruit pulp instead of powder, with mango, pineapple, and horchata available.

Definitely a great local business to support and one we highly recommend adding to your list.
