Labor Day weekend generally is considered the last hurrah of summer, and what a summer it has been.

We’ve welcomed longtime regulars, first-time visitors, families on vacation, local families we’ve watched grow up, and plenty of folks who told us, “We come here every time we’re in Maine.”

We never take that for granted.

We’re proud to call Augusta home. We’re proud to serve Central Maine. And we’re incredibly grateful that so many of you continue to make The Red Barn part of your family traditions.

You've made it through the week, and now you're rewarded with a long Labor Day weekend!🙌

The hustle and bustle of the summer buzz has waned and we're seeing fewer and fewer out-of-state plates in our parking lot as we settle into the traditional routines of the autumn season. We love welcoming visitors to Augusta, but there’s something extra special about seeing the familiar faces of the local folks who have supported us year after year.

That’s what makes The Red Barn home. And that's what makes our loyal "regulars" part of our Red Barn family.

So whether you’ve traveled 500 miles or five minutes to get here, pull up a chair. Grab a lobster roll. Stay awhile.

Happy Friday, Central Maine! 🎉

The first week of school deserves to be celebrated.

Kids survived.
Parents survived.
Teachers survived.

We’d say that’s worth some fried seafood. 😂

Skip the dinner debate tonight, load everybody into the car, and come see us. Lobster, clams, haddock, shrimp, chicken, burgers and ALL your Red Barn favorites are just waiting to be prepared for you.

Happy Thursday!
Maine has a lot to offer each of the 4 seasons, but the transition from summer to fall is simply the best...

The mornings are getting a little cooler, the kids are heading back to school, and we’re starting to notice that the sun is disappearing just a little earlier every night.

BUT...

We’re not ready to say goodbye to summer quite yet. ☀️

There’s still time for lobster rolls, fried clams, fried chicken, seafood stew and those spontaneous “let’s go to The Red Barn” kind of nights.

Summer may be winding down—but we’re going to enjoy every last bite of it. 😉

Happy Wednesday! 🍎📚

Can you believe it's September already?? We bid summer a fond farewell as we move into the fall season. The backpacks are packed, the pencils are sharpened, and parents everywhere are wondering how summer went by THAT fast.😳 Fall is in the air, a new school year is underway, the Windsor Fair is in full swing, and leaves are already starting to fall.

Whether today was the first day back, you’re squeezing in the last few days of summer vacation, or you’re a teacher wondering if it’s too early to start counting down to Friday—we think you deserve a good meal.

Happy Wednesday!🙌

We're back and ready to kick off the final week of August—for many, the final week of summer before vacation ends and a new school year begins...😬🫨

As our peak season winds down, it's imperative that we show our appreciation and gratitude to ALL of our guests that have helped make this summer such a successful one for us. Tourists from out-of-town are largely responsible for the influx of business, but it's the loyalty of our "regulars" that keep us thriving year round. To ALL of our guests—THANK YOU.🙏
