Finch and Fifth is participating in the fundraiser for Helping Hands in Aiken- to benefit the Foster Kids.

Chef Sarah Cro is a USARMY Veteran, Owner of Finch and Fifth, and a classically French trained Chef with a flair for creative fusion cuisine.

She’s cooked in places such as Athens and Savannah Georgia bringing creative and low-country influence to her dishes in Augusta. She’s also had the honor of being mentored by some great local Chefs in Augusta Georgia.

When she’s not cooking or running the restaurant, she’s painting, drawing, writing, or doing stand-up comedy. Despite the impression this photo might convey, she never takes herself seriously and realizes she might just need more photos of herself. (LOL)

She’s recently been partnering with Jesse Norman School of the Arts to bring culinary skills to their off-campus after school programs.

She also hopes to bring awareness to mental health in the Hospitality industry as well as encourage other Chefs and industry workers to seek help if they struggle with sobriety or adapting a healthier lifestyle.

We’ve gone through a lot together this Summer and it’s this closeness that allows us to tell you assertively that it is now jacket season. It’s sweater weather and you need to keep a cute one or two in your car. Jean jackets are back and so are pumpkins 🎃 and so is your humanity. Say goodbye to 107 degree heat, and hello to creative cocktails and spooky decorations. There is hope again. There is optimism. There is this anatomically incorrect octopus skeleton holding your first 🧨 TNT of fall. His name is Harold and he lives here until Thanksgiving.

Today, is the first day of Fall. Officially. I promise you it really is- it’s easy to forget since there isn’t a sweater yet in sight. Leaves are falling though, I can verify since we’ve been busting out the leaf blower every morning and evening at the restaurant. It’s a ceaseless battle against the leaves trying to come in the front door. It’s also a hopeful feeling cause we are so excited to wear all our cute jackets!
Today’s TNT 🧨 is the Last Spritz of the Season: Elder Flower, Cranberry, cinnamon agave, topped with prosecco and good spanking of mint.

It’s September already and pumpkin spice is already being served, but Finch and Fifth is still celebrating summer with you. Yes we are tired of the heat, yes we have to get up at 7am to walk the dogs, yes the fans are going and the electric bill is way too high - but on the bright side we’re still serving refreshing drinks that seem to taste better in the sun-

Just a small gesture for our Dolly celebration of life Brunch service this Sunday. We’re gonna let her music take us to church. We hope that those of you attending will find comfort in knowing you’re coming to a place where she was truly loved.

We always say at Finch that we try to be like Dolly. No politics, no hate, just comfort and doing the right thing because it’s the right thing to do.

It details it on the pamphlet - but in honor of her, the Parton estate requests that in lieu of flowers please donate to your local literacy programs or the Imagination Library.
