**Important Announcement**
Hello Auburn, this is Jaclyn Robinson, owner of Mo’Bay Beignet Co.
I want to thank the Auburn community for the wonderful three years you’ve allowed us to serve you. It’s been such a joy and privilege.
It is time to renew the lease for Mo’Bay Auburn, and I’ve made the very difficult decision to not renew.
As some of you may know, the Auburn location was originally licensed by an Auburn local. After a year, the location converted to a corporate location. While attempting to own and operate a location three and a half hours away from me has had its many challenges, I don’t regret the choice to have tried.
However, in addition to the challenges of owning a store from a significant distance, I now have major personal life changes that have occurred over this past year, including the loss of my mother a few weeks ago. As I enter into this new season, I’m in need of making some significant changes both personally and professionally. Unfortunately that includes closing Mo’Bay Auburn, for now.
I plan to take 2024 to rest, reflect, and allow less to be more. I hope to open the Auburn/Opelika market up to be available for a franchise location in 2025 should the Lord lead me in that direction and should the interest be there from a Auburn local who desires to be hands on in the operating of a Mo’Bay for their community.
I want to thank each team member who served Mo’Bay Auburn so well over these past three years. It was your kindness and joy that truly made Auburn sweeter.
Thank you to every person who supported the location. Many of you became regulars and we will greatly miss serving you.
