I don’t know if it’s nostalgia or just getting older, but there’s something about a basket of fresh herbs on the counter that makes me happy.

Maybe it reminds me of simpler days, when kitchens smelled like something baking, moms clipped herbs from the garden, and life felt a little slower.

I had some extra rosemary, thyme, and lavender from the garden, so I made a few little bundles to put out at the bread stand this week. They’re simple, they smell amazing, and they make me smile every time I walk by them.

Rain or shine, we’re still open! Since the weather is looking a little iffy, the bread stand will be set up inside the house tomorrow. Just knock on the door, and I’ll have everything ready for you. ☔🏡

If you’ve been craving fresh-baked bread, cookies, banana bread, or cinnamon rolls, be sure to get your order in early. Everything is baked in small batches, and once ordering closes, I’ll be headed into a full week of mixing, proofing, and baking.
