This is a worth while nonprofit — the Feeney Legacy Project — is hosting its 3rd Annual Feeney’s 5K Fun Run on March 8 at Brook Run Park, and I really want this year to be a huge success for her.

The foundation was created in memory of my nephew, Feeney, who died at just 33. He was with someone who was afraid to call 911 because drugs were involved, and CPR wasn’t performed. My sister turned her grief into purpose and built a nonprofit that teaches people to call 911, perform CPR, and understand the laws that protect Good Samaritans.

This is our first year hosting the run at Brook Run — it’s a beautiful, self‑contained, relaxing course. And the best part: it’s a Peachtree Qualifier. The race starts at a very reasonable 9:30 AM, so no crack‑of‑dawn wake‑ups.

I would love for you to join us. And if you can’t attend, you can still donate or participate virtually. Please share with anyone who might want to be part of something meaningful.

From clothing and toiletries to everyday essentials, the generosity that filled our space (and our hearts) has been overwhelming in the best way. Because of your incredible support, we are no longer able to accept additional clothing donations — we’ve officially run out of room.
