Ms. Cherry is the backbone, the inspiration, and the original force behind Irie Mon Café.

Starting out with a small stall in Jamaica, selling corn and beginning her days at 4 AM just to prepare, she laid the foundation for what true dedication looks like. From outstanding customer service to consistent flavor, Ms. Cherry has never disappointed. She became well known throughout Jamaica, and now her impact is being felt across the country.

Today, we don’t just want to wish Ms. Cherry a happy birthday — we want to say thank you for your years of dedication, hard work, and love poured into every customer and every meal.

Italia Wilson is my 15-year-old daughter, and she has always been a bright, caring, and resilient young person. On Georgia 404 Day at Piedmont Park, Italia was an innocent bystander when a tragic incident occurred. She was one of two teenagers who were shot, and she was struck in the shoulder during a crossfire. This unexpected event has turned our world upside down, and we are doing everything we can to support Italia as she recovers from her injuries.

The funds raised through this campaign will go directly toward Italia’s medical bills, therapy visits with specialists, and any other needs she may have as she works toward healing. The road to recovery is long, and your support will help ensure that Italia receives the care and resources she needs to regain her strength and confidence. Every contribution, no matter the size, will make a meaningful difference in her journey.
