Each year during the third weekend in August we celebrate a part of our local heritage, wild blueberries. Established in 1984, the Wild Blueberry Festival showcases informative programs of music, nature, and local history lore.

Today is the day! The opening day of Elk Fest in Atlanta! We are located down by EJ Paul Insurance, right on the corner of Park Street and West Street in the park. We plan to be open this afternoon by 3 p.m.

Make sure to attend the festival this year (Sept. 29 – Oct. 1). The weather is supposed to be great all weekend! There are many events to take part in, music in the entertainment tent, vendors of all types in the park and up town, and a nice variety of food vendors down in the park. Everything officially kicks off with the parade in town at 5:30!
