Created by our own Sebastian Martinez in partnership with and , Herencia celebrates Hispanic Heritage Month through the flavors of his Latin roots.

1800 Cristalino Tequila, tamarind, fresh lime, fresh orange, and hibiscus tincture come together in a cocktail inspired by heritage and tradition.

Ocopa at Madre Selva. 🌿🌺

Marble potatoes topped with creamy ocopa sauce made with huacatay and ají amarillo, finished with queso fresco, quail eggs, botija olives, and endive lettuce.

At the heart of this Arequipeño classic is huacatay, known as Peruvian black mint, a signature of Andean cooking that gives Ocopa its unmistakable character.

A look back at our latest ceviche class. 🐟

On September 21, Executive Chef Mayra Dominguez and welcomed guests for Master Ceviche Class en Español, a hands-on evening centered on Peruvian ceviche, culture, and language during Hispanic Heritage Month.

Guests prepared their own ceviche alongside Chef Mayra, learning the techniques and traditions behind one of Peru’s most iconic dishes while practicing Spanish in the kitchen.

Next, Chef Mayra will explore the Nikkei connection between Peru and Japan through another hands-on ceviche experience.
